It’s been awhile since I last wrote a blog post, but it’s good to be back! Anyways, I asked my followers on Instagram for their strange reading habits. In this short but sweet post I will be sharing with you just a few of the responses I received and giving my responses to them. So without further ado, here they are.

#1: “I sometimes hang upside down when I read.”

Well…I’m not sure that’s quite safe. I mean, your blood is not only rushing to your head but you could also slip and hurt yourself. However, I have to admit that I have done this before but once I started feeling dizzy and lightheaded, that action stopped immediately. But you do you…I guess. 🙂

#2: “I read aloud, even when I’m alone.”

Same! I actually enjoy doing this. Most of the times that I do it, I make up how the characters sound and read it as if I am each character. What can I say? I’m a very theatrical person.

#3: “I tend to sprawl out on the floor.”

I feel you. Sometimes being confined to a chair or the couch is so restricting. In my opinion, if one is going to read then they need to get as comfortable as possible, and sometimes that’s on the floor. 🙂

#4: “The book is never more than 3 inches from my face.”

That’s a very interesting habit. I’m not sure if I could focus with the book that close to my face. However, maybe it’s easier for others that way. I mean…Maybe one might need it that close because they tend to get distracted by things happening around them. If that’s the case then that make complete sense. For me, though, my eyes can’t focus when something’s that close. But you do you!!!
